On the Defender website, as well as Amazon, Sams Club, etc, this system is advertised as having a motion detection Email alert feature. I received this system last week and was able to easily setup every feature (web viewing, iPhone and Blackberry viewing, motion detection recording,) except for the Email alert feature. I called Defender support two times and sent an Email complaint, but each time the only response I got back was "We know about this issue and don't know when it will be fixed." If they know about this issue, why are they still advertising the feature??? If you don't need the EMail alerts then this is a pretty good system, but I really need the Email alerts to be aware when something is possibly happening at my home, so as far as I'm concerned this system is not worth it.
