I placed wirelss unit 50 feet away from receiver and picture quality was very poor.I had hoped to monitor a peice of machinery outside our building. The building is normal 2x4 wood siding construction, not a metal building.At 50 feet line of sight through one wall, picture would fade in and out at random.I moved unit to 15 feet away in the same building to test it and picture quality is still very poor. I have junked both the units I purchased and went with 68.00 wired vandal proof dome cameras.The picture quality of the new cameras is like HD compared to these wireless cameras which is like an old tube tv with poor reception.These are probably the worse picture I have ever seen on a wireless camera.I am sorry that I wasted my time mounting them and running a dedicated power outlet, and am doubly sorry that I actually purchased them.
